Privacy

In short: almost nothing

The Academy has no accounts, forms, cookies or tracking code. We do not store your name, email address or results. Below is what does happen, and why.

What stays in your browser

Your lesson progress and quiz scores, weekly streak, text size and theme are kept in your browser (localStorage). They are never sent anywhere and we cannot see them. You can delete them by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Certificates

Certificates are created in your browser. The name you enter goes into the part of the link after the "#" sign, which browsers do not send to the server. If you share the certificate link, the people you share it with will see the name.

Hosting and security

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any website, it processes technical request data — IP address, browser type, the address opened and the time — to deliver pages and protect them from attacks. In the Cloudflare dashboard we only see aggregated traffic statistics, not individual visitors.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Data may also be processed outside the EU; Cloudflare applies EU-recognised safeguards for that. More in Cloudflare's privacy policy ↗.

Search statistics

Google Search Console gives us aggregated data on which searches show and lead to the site. It does not identify visitors and is not connected to any code on this site.

Fonts, images and scripts

Every file is served from this site. Pages make no requests to Google Fonts, advertising or analytics services.

"Learn with AI"

The button only copies the lesson text to your clipboard. We send nothing to AI services. When you paste the text into an AI tool, that tool's terms apply.

External and affiliate links

When you follow a link to another site (such as itbroliai.lt or Revolut), that site's privacy rules apply. An affiliate link carries a code that tells the partner you came from us; if you sign up through it, IT Broliai may receive a reward. Such links are always labelled in the lessons.

Your rights and contact

You have all the rights the GDPR gives you. Because we process almost no data about you, you can exercise most of them yourself by clearing your browser data. Questions: info@itbroliai.lt. You can lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania ↗.
